About the job

Required Knowledge and Qualifications

• University degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field
• Extensive experience in managing large and complex construction/infrastructure projects or in a comparable position
• Strong project management skills: planning, milestone and schedule control, progress evaluation, and initiation of corrective measures
• Fluent in English, German, and Turkish
• Knowledge of contract administration and the ability to work within defined project plans, standards, and procedures
• Leadership and supervision of the subcontractor administration department
• Leadership and supervision of the procurement management department
• Knowledge in financial management: budgeting, cost control, cash flow management, and ensuring economical use of resources
• Practical knowledge of occupational health and safety management systems and a preventive safety culture
• Experience and good knowledge of the company’s ENKA budgeting system EGFS
• Experience and good knowledge of the company’s ENKA procurement system EGPS
• Experience and good knowledge of the ENKA document management system EDMS
• Experience and good knowledge of the ENKA personnel management system EGHR
• Familiarity with international standards for quality assurance and inspections
• Leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills, including performance-based evaluation and incentive systems
• Management of customer and stakeholder relationships
• Strong communication skills across different company departments

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Achieving project goals and timely delivery of high-quality, completed works while adhering to established milestones
• Ensuring economical use of resources and achieving the targets set by company management
• Building and maintaining a qualified, balanced, well-structured, and motivated project team with the necessary personnel strength to fulfil project commitments
• Promoting teamwork and cross-departmental communication to create synergies within the organisation
• Executing the project in strict compliance with the project plans, standards, and procedures established by the company
• Ensuring safe working conditions at all times with the aim of zero work accidents for all project staff and workers
• Ensuring that all products and services are delivered in accordance with international quality assurance and inspection standards
• Accurate and timely reporting to management without unexpected developments
• Promoting business development through the implementation of company policies in all relevant business areas
• Supporting and mentoring employees regarding training and personal development and ensuring that remuneration and incentive programmes are based on performance criteria and systematic evaluation methods
• Setting standards (mission and vision) and a work culture that aligns employees with achieving company goals
• Continuous evaluation of overall project progress and initiation of necessary corrective measures to ensure the desired outcomes
• Continuous assurance of adequate staffing on site until project completion
