Day Special School MOFA
At the Day Special School MOFA, students with behavioral issues and learning difficulties are taught and supported full-time in small learning groups of 5-7 places each, with the goal of achieving a successful start in vocational training and adult life. To strengthen our Day Special School, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement a
Special Education Teacher SEK I or School Special Educator 50-100% or a Social Pedagogue FH/HF 50-100%
Collaboration between teacher and social pedagogy in tandem is possible.
Your Background
You have a recognized teaching diploma with or without special education additional training or a diploma in Social Work / Social Pedagogy.
You are proficient in several subjects and confident to teach outside your subject area as well.
Ideally, you have experience leading, teaching, and supporting mixed-age and mixed-level classes and dealing with children or adolescents with behavioral issues. (Class size at MOFA: 4-7 students)
You are a team player, resilient, and have a humorous, confident attitude.
You are confident to master difficult situations together with the team.
Your Perspectives
You have the opportunity to actively contribute your ideas and experiences to the development of our Day Special School.
You feel capable of persistently engaging with adolescents in crisis developmental phases.
You welcome exchange with colleagues about work and enjoy reflecting on your teaching and relationship work in regular case and team supervision.
