At Oro de Cacao in Freienbach, we process cocoa using an innovative production method. Our modern, highly automated systems combine electrical engineering, automation, mechanics, and process engineering. For this, we are looking for a technical all-rounder with a focus on electrical engineering who understands systems holistically and takes responsibility.

What you will do with us
Together with the team, you ensure that our production and operational systems function reliably.

Maintenance and Plant Engineering
• Maintenance, servicing, and repair of our automated production and operational systems
• Independent fault finding and sustainable troubleshooting
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance work
• Participation in conversions, optimisations, and technical improvements
• Further development of system availability and operational safety
• Management of the spare parts warehouse

Electrical Engineering and Automation
• Support, expansion, and optimisation of existing electrical installations
• Fault finding on controls, sensors, actuators, and automated systems
• Collaboration with external specialists and suppliers
• Main contact person for the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI)
• Responsibility for the electrical safety concept (SIKO)
• Instruction of employees in the safe handling of electrical installations and systems

Building and Technical Operations
• Monitoring and maintenance of building and security technology
• Support with general technical maintenance work
• Taking on on-call duties according to deployment planning

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a technical all-rounder with a strong foundation in electrical engineering and enthusiasm for engaging with the entire system.


Ideally, you bring:
• Training as an electrical installer EFZ, automation technician EFZ, assembly electrician EFZ, or comparable electrical engineering qualification
• Several years of experience in maintenance, technical servicing, or production systems
• Sound knowledge of electrical engineering and systematic fault finding
• Interest in automation, control technology, and modern plant engineering
• Mechanical understanding and a practical hands-on mentality
• Independent, reliable, and pragmatic working style
• Team spirit and willingness to take responsibility
• Very good German skills; English is an advantage
• Willingness to perform on-call duties
• Certification at least according to NIV Art. 13 is an advantage or willingness to obtain it promptly
