The Criminal Department, with its specialists, deals with serious crime, offenses of supraregional significance, as well as new criminal phenomena. With professional and technical know-how - from the crime scene through data management to investigations in complex fraudulent schemes - it clarifies offenses or contributes to success as a service provider.
Your tasks
- Participation in the establishment of the new telecommunications surveillance department and work as an operator in a specialized team
- Independent execution of operations after careful introduction to support ongoing investigations
- Analysis and preparation of relevant data from telecommunications systems as well as professional advice to the investigation departments
- Conducting mobile communications analyses (e.g., measurement drives, cell evaluations) and participation in the maintenance and further development of the systems
- Continuous monitoring of technological developments in mobile communications and acting as an advisor to the operational management in major and special situations
Your profile
- Completed technical basic training or several years of experience in a related technology field
- Knowledge in mobile communications and/or experience in telecommunications surveillance, ideally complemented by initial criminal police practice
- High intrinsic motivation for continuous further education as well as pronounced analytical understanding of complex contexts
- Ability to communicate technical matters appropriately and understandably both orally and in writing
- Team-oriented, flexible, and resilient personality with willingness for irregular operations and on-call duty (driver's license category B required)
