As part of our new internal organisation, we are creating a new position of
General Services Manager 80-100% (m/f/i)
You coordinate the institution's infrastructure, technical services and general services. Across all sites, you contribute to ensuring a safe, functional environment adapted to the needs of beneficiaries and staff, in compliance with current standards and requirements.
Your main responsibilities
- Infrastructure: manage the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, installations, equipment and furniture, monitor service providers and contracts, and participate in investment, renovation and development projects
- Safety: ensure compliance with safety, fire protection, hygiene and environmental standards, monitor prevention measures and periodic inspections as well as the alarm system
- Safety devices: update emergency and evacuation plans, organise drills and awareness activities, and ensure the proper functioning of security and communication systems
- General services: management, support and backup of concierge services, infrastructure and transport. Supervision of kitchen and laundry activities. Prioritisation of interventions
- Technical and logistical services: ensure operational monitoring of telephony, IT systems and alarms, and the vehicle fleet in liaison with the relevant service providers. Manage purchases, suppliers and material needs across all our sites
- Continuous improvement: identify needs, propose appropriate solutions and promote collaboration between general services and the institution's various sectors
- Communication and reporting to management
Your profile
- Higher technical education in infrastructure management, facility management or equivalent, or professional training complemented by significant experience related to the role; additional training in the field of safety is an asset
- Proven experience in coordinating general services, infrastructure or technical services
- Proximity leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to unite teams
- Ease in coordinating teams and external service providers
- Good knowledge of building safety requirements and risk prevention
- Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate varied activities while ensuring their follow-up through to completion
- Autonomy, rigour, sense of responsibility and ability to take initiative and propose pragmatic solutions
- Good command of common IT tools
- Good knowledge of German is an asset
