With us, you learn the craft directly in the daily editorial routine, quickly take on your own responsibility and actively shape our department. Your articles appear in the Tages-Anzeiger and the Landbote. For your research, you go out, follow up and write.

Our team writes stories that move the people in Winterthur and the region. As the largest editorial office in the city, we depict political and social life all around. We are part of the Tages-Anzeiger and Tamedia – your stories will find both a local and a national audience. The internship duration is 6 months starting from 1.1.2027.

What to expect:

• You research current topics from the city and the Winterthur region and bring your own story ideas directly into the conferences.

• You play the entire journalistic spectrum: from news reports to portraits and features to critical interviews.

• You get to know various facets of local journalism – including parliamentary debates, court hearings and press conferences.

What we are looking for:

• You are currently studying / training in journalism or have already completed this. Ideally, you have already gained some practical experience in journalism.

• You have a feel for good stories that arouse the interest of our readers and want to implement them independently.

• You have a good sense of language and hit the right tone.
