Role and Responsibilities:
- Target validation and characterization of novel therapeutic antibody candidates.
- Development and implementation of biochemical, immunohistological and cell-based assays.
- Characterization of antibody candidates in animal models including dosing of animals, sampling of biofluids necropsy and tissue processing for quantitative immunohistological and biochemical analyses.
- Documenting and reporting the results to the team.
- The candidate will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.
Requirements:
- MSc, BSc or training as laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent degree in biological sciences.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture, in vitro cellular assays and immunological techniques such as ELISA and Western blotting.
- Expertise in in vivo administration of compounds (i.p/i.v.), vein bleeding techniques, necropsy and ex vivo sample processing for biochemical and immunostaining analyses
- Well organized, self-motivated, ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a focus on deliverables.
