As a trainee with us, you will be responsible for assessing objections against tax assessments of natural persons throughout the canton. You will delve deeply into complex cases, work independently, and never be alone – as an experienced team will support you with advice and assistance. Tax Administration

The Basel-Landschaft Tax Administration is responsible for the correct collection of taxes from legal entities and natural persons. Its employees review tax returns, carry out assessments, and ensure the collection of cantonal and direct federal taxes. Additionally, it also collects municipal taxes on behalf of the municipalities. Other tasks include the assessment and collection of real estate gains tax, property transfer tax, as well as inheritance and gift taxes, as well as the processing of withholding taxes. Furthermore, the Tax Administration ensures a uniform assessment practice in the canton by providing professional support and assistance to the municipal tax offices.
