About the job
The Center for Social Affairs is one of the largest associations of its kind in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we are actively engaged, accessible, and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counseling, mother and father counseling, addiction counseling, and school social work.
Professional Guardian
We support people in cases of illness, disability, and crisis situations. We assist, accompany, and represent individuals in personal matters, in contact with authorities, and in everyday transactions.
Your tasks
- Managing official mandates in child and adult protection
- Accompanying, advising, and representing our clients in personal, legal, and financial matters
- Interdisciplinary work with involved professionals, authorities, and institutions
Your qualifications
- Completed studies in social work, preferably with professional experience in child and adult protection
- Good knowledge of social insurance law
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Teamwork skills, humor, and a high degree of independence in autonomous work organization
- High resilience, empathy, and interest in people in difficult life situations
