Equipment Maintenance Technician II

Location: Grenchen  (SO)

Contract Type: permanent

Start Date: immediately or by arrangement

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General building maintenance (ventilation, sanitary, electrical, heating etc.)
• Responsibility for procurement of operating materials (e.g. oil) as well as waste management including disposal of waste, shavings and recycling materials
• Responsibility for sanitary facilities and consumables
• Carrying out cleaning work in the assigned areas
• Performing minor mechanical repairs
• Support in water treatment
• Providing on-call service

YOU WILL REPORT TO:

Facility Supervisor

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• School leaving certificate with further or vocational training in a technical field, e.g. building management specialist, operations maintenance specialist, maintenance technician, plant technician, electrician, mechatronics technician, training in refrigeration technology or heating, ventilation and air conditioning or electrician or equivalent skills, experience or training
• 2-4 years relevant professional experience in the desired field
• Understanding of building infrastructure and interrelationships
• Good IT skills (MS Office)
• Good German (fluent), English skills are an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal relationships
• Hands-on mentality
