A Technical Draughtsperson / Site Manager at CIT-S
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety (CIT-S) of the CHUV is looking for a technical draughtsperson / site manager to complete its team, with a workload between 80% and 100%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its close collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, research and education.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety (CIT-S) ensures the operation, maintenance, construction and engineering of the extensive property portfolio of the CHUV, consisting of more than 40 buildings on the main hospital site and external sites.
The missions of CIT-S revolve around three major axes: the construction and modernisation of infrastructures, the operation and maintenance of technical and biomedical installations, as well as the protection and safety of property and people.
Mission
- You draw, model and prepare the technical documents necessary for project development and for maintaining the service's technical database
- You manage maintenance work for medium-scale, complexity and criticality sites, under partial supervision, on the hospital campus and external sites
- You lead technical projects of low complexity and criticality, under partial supervision, within CHUV buildings
- You prepare documents ensuring compliance with the rules of the Canton of Vaud and internal procedures regarding construction
- You work in an environment subject to a Quality Management System.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a building draughtsperson or an equivalent qualification
- You have proven experience in construction drawing and in conducting BIM studies (Revit), ideally around 5 years
- You possess good knowledge of standards, laws and regulations related to the building trades
- You demonstrate rigour, a strong team spirit and a genuine willingness for continuous self-training
- You are proficient with professional IT tools such as Autocad, MS Project, CAD tools as well as common office software.
