B2 Crisis Intervention Centre (KIZ)
At the Crisis Intervention Centre, people in acute psychological crises are treated as inpatients in an open and needs-oriented setting. These may be crises without pre-existing mental illness or crisis-like exacerbations of existing mental disorders. In crisis intervention, the focus is on the crisis, its triggers, and coping with the current difficult situation. Crisis intervention is neither diagnosis-specific nor tied to a particular psychotherapeutic method. The stay at the Crisis Intervention Centre is time-limited.
Your Tasks
Flexibility and enjoyment of variety are central points. Because that is exactly what working at the KIZ means. The tasks are very varied and oriented towards the individual and needs-based treatment of patients.
Here are some of the most important points:
- independent and individual care and support of patients during the night shift
- accompanying patients in crisis situations
- complex psychiatric assessments with planning and implementation of further steps
- triage activities for the entire clinic during the night shift
- leading handovers
- organisation and implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic orders
- maintaining nursing documentation and various administrative tasks within the ward
At the KIZ we have two night watch staff per shift, so you will work together with a health professional.
Your Profile

For this position, we are looking for a person who already has experience in psychiatry.
