The positions are attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the smooth running of all HUG services, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the Sterilisation Service, the Biomedical and Equipment Service, as well as Cressy-Santé. More than 1,100 professionals carry out their duties daily with constant attention to quality, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
Within the Operations Department, the Laundry Processing and Distribution Service provides a comprehensive laundry service that includes the supply and distribution of linen and professional clothing. Patients, clients, and customers can also benefit from these services.
Job description
As part of your role, you are responsible for collecting, sorting, and preparing the linen. You ensure the washing, drying, calendering, folding, packaging, and storage of hospital and professional linen, strictly adhering to the applicable quality and hygiene standards.
You will work in an industrial, organised, and dynamic structure where you can develop in a stimulating work environment.
Qualifications
You have good knowledge of textiles and a good command of the French language, both spoken and written.
You have 2 to 3 years of experience in a laundry, logistics sector, or similar, which would be an asset. You are able to adapt to the demands of an industrial environment.
Excellent physical condition is essential to perform the tasks related to the position.
We are looking for a person who is rigorous, organised, has a good team spirit, and a real sense of service. You demonstrate versatility and flexibility. You are keen to actively contribute to the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
Additional information
The positions are organised according to shift schedules with working hours from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, and versatility is required across all HUG sites.
