For the Basel or Zurich location, we are looking for a Safety Officer starting January 2027 or by arrangement.

• Gross annual salary between CHF 70,000 and 90,000

Your role with us

• As a Safety Officer, you support the SBB and other clients in efforts to improve building security, especially in the area of fire protection.

• You review safety and emergency concepts as well as fire brigade deployment plans. If deviations or deficiencies are found, you take the necessary measures.

• Advising customers (line managers, operational facility management, client representatives) on structural, technical, or organisational building security measures is part of your duties, as is supporting the implementation of these measures.

• You plan and conduct training on safety-related topics. You also organise integrated tests or lead emergency drills (e.g. evacuations) for employees, tenants, or service providers.

• Furthermore, you assist the SBB or other clients in monitoring events and ensuring compliance with the organisers’ safety concepts.

• Participation in projects, collaboration with external partners and authorities, as well as administrative tasks such as preparing safety instructions or safety inspections complete your job profile.

What you bring:

• You have in-depth knowledge and ideally several years of experience in building security (especially fire protection), occupational safety, and health protection.

• Completed certificate examination as Safety Officer in fire protection, health protection, and occupational safety, or willingness to complete this training.

• You possess very good technical understanding and excellent IT user skills.

• As a Safety Officer, you work very independently. Your good communication skills and strong customer orientation enable you to act successfully at the interface between clients and Transsicura.
