About the job

As a Specialist in Occupational Safety and Health Protection at the Migros Zurich Cooperative, you take on a key role in ensuring safe, healthy working conditions. You conduct audits and hazard assessments, analyse incidents, train management and safety officers, and actively develop concepts, projects, and a strong company-wide safety culture.

What you achieve

• Professional co-responsibility for occupational safety and health protection in close collaboration with various stakeholders
• Conducting and evaluating hazard assessments and audits
• Incident investigations, defining follow-up measures, and monitoring implementation
• Responsibility for implementing EKAS guidelines according to the Migros Group's operational group solution and maintaining a company-wide safety culture
• Professional advice and training for safety officers and management
• Participation in specialist training and courses on OSH
• Development of concepts and optimisation proposals as well as project management

What you bring

• Education: Completed basic or further training
• Specialisation: Specialist in Occupational Safety and Health Protection with a federal professional certificate
• Work experience: 3 years of professional experience in occupational safety and health protection in a similar role
• Driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the cantons of Zurich, Schwyz, Glarus, and St. Gallen
• Initiative, solution-oriented and communicative personality
• Empathetic, flexible and resilient personality with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
• German (B2)
