Network Infrastructure Lead (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 135,000Role:
Critical infrastructures need a stable foundation, and as Network Infrastructure Lead, you build exactly this foundation. You hold overall responsibility for the network landscape across all business areas. You drive a fundamental redesign of the network architecture and define the target architecture including the migration path. With solid knowledge in network security, you ensure that segmentation, zero trust, and firewall rules remain up to date. Your experience makes you the central authority for all network-related issues.
Responsibilities:
You bear overall responsibility for routers, switches, firewalls, and WLAN across all business areas
You design and lead a comprehensive network redesign including target architecture and migration strategy
You develop security concepts for segmentation, zero trust, firewall policies, and VPN connections
Additionally, you ensure stability in 24/7 operations and occasionally take on on-call duties
Collaboration with the teams for server/client, VMware, and cloud is also part of your daily routine
You maintain network documentation, emergency plans, and promote knowledge building within the team
Qualifications:
A higher vocational training in the ICT field or a degree in computer science or network technology forms your basis
You bring several years of professional experience in the network field, some of which in an architecture or senior role
You are familiar with network automation, complemented by knowledge in PowerShell
Certifications in firewall and network technologies complete your profile
You are confident in related topics such as virtualisation as well as server and client infrastructure
Additionally, you have experience with critical, regulated 24/7 environments and communicate fluently in German as well as confidently in English
