The Viadukt Restaurant in Zurich is looking immediately or by arrangement for a motivated individual for the role of Head of Service Restaurant Viadukt 80–100%

At the Viadukt Restaurant in District 5, we pamper our guests 7 days a week in a unique atmosphere with a creative, market-fresh and regional cuisine. At lunchtime, four menus are available, and in the evening we serve seasonal dishes à la carte. The restaurant has 80 seats indoors and 90 seats in the garden with a view of the Josefwiese. Regular concerts take place in the nearby Bogen F, which also belongs to the Netzwerk Foundation. The event venue can also be rented for private celebrations and corporate events and transforms into a café bar on concert-free weekends. The employees of both establishments work closely together. As part of our work integration project, we offer young people and young adults with difficult access to the primary labour market supervised training places and daily structures.

In your role as Head of Service of the Viadukt Restaurant, you are responsible for a smooth operation and the organisation of the entire service area. You lead the service team, actively work in service, and handle administrative tasks as they arise. In collaboration with social work professionals, you also ensure comprehensive support for the participants of the work integration project.

You are a flexible, customer-oriented and strong leader with professional training in gastronomy as well as work experience. You enjoy engaging in an innovative and interdisciplinary team and place great value on high quality. Independent and careful work is as natural to you as taking on responsibility. In hectic phases or with higher workloads, you keep an overview and your sense of humour. Furthermore, you enjoy working in the evenings and at weekends. Interested? The Netzwerk Foundation is a non-profit organisation that supports people of different ages in difficult life situations and offers them work, housing and advice. As part of social prevention, it also runs sports and cultural projects.

In Zurich (Restaurant Viadukt, Bogen F), Wetzikon (Restaurant Konter, mittagstisch eis, carpentry, facility maintenance), Seegräben (village shop) and Winterthur (LadenBistro Tössfeld), we have around 70 training and employment places for young people and young adults in our work integration project.
