Citrix Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
An experienced IT professional with Citrix knowledge is sought to support and optimise virtual IT workspaces. The focus is on the reliable operation of virtual desktop and application platforms as well as the further development of Citrix and cloud solutions.
In collaboration with various IT teams, you will implement technical adjustments, support migrations, and ensure a secure and well-documented system environment.
Responsibilities:
Operation and optimisation of the Citrix infrastructure for virtual workspaces and applications
Participation in the expansion of existing platforms and introduction of new software
Independent implementation of migrations and smaller infrastructure projects
Creation and updating of technical documentation, system overviews, and concepts
Investigation of more complex technical faults and handling in 2nd and 3rd level support
Qualifications:
IT education or comparable professional background
Several years of practical experience in operating Citrix systems and virtual work environments
Knowledge of Citrix NetScaler ADC as well as load balancing, SSL offloading, and gateway solutions
Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops; knowledge of Citrix DaaS and Citrix Cloud is an advantage
Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, group policies, and PowerShell
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, good English skills, and a high quality and security awareness
