Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Project Manager Architecture with a focus on Project Planning for the independent management of demanding new build and renovation projects in the Zurich region. You will be responsible for projects from the preliminary design through the construction project to the approval process and will manage internal project teams as well as external specialist planners and experts. A particular focus lies on building law, SIA standards, official procedures and ArchiCAD as well as the planning processing of residential and existing buildings. The position combines architectural project planning with high professional responsibility for planning, coordination and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management and planning of new build, renovation and existing projects
Responsibility for preliminary design, construction project and approval project as well as management of the corresponding planning processes
Handling and assessment of complex building law and planning law issues
Preparation and coordination of building applications, approval documents and official submissions
Ensuring compliance with Swiss building legislation, official requirements and relevant SIA standards
Leadership and coordination of the internal project team as well as external specialist planners and experts
Conducting clarifications with authorities and specialist offices as well as coordinating the necessary approval procedures
Responsibility for planning processes, deadlines, pending issues and project organisation
Review and quality assurance of ArchiCAD models, plans, concepts and project documents
Preparation and leadership of project, planning and coordination meetings
Analysis of existing building fabric and development of suitable renovation, refurbishment and planning solutions for existing buildings
Early identification of planning, technical and building law project risks and development of appropriate solution options
Qualifications:
Completed architecture degree ETH or FH or comparable recognised university degree
At least 5 years of professional experience in architectural project management, ideally in the Swiss market
Solid experience in planning of new build, renovation, residential and existing buildings
Very good knowledge of Swiss building and planning law, building approval procedures and relevant SIA standards
Very good ArchiCAD skills as well as sound constructive and technical planning understanding
Experience in leading project teams and coordinating external specialist planners
Very good German language skills spoken and written
