Your Tasks
Laboratory technicians EFZ specialising in textiles learn, in addition to the safe handling of chemicals, the process engineering and dyeing procedures. External chemical and textile-specific introductory courses support knowledge transfer during your training. You work on research projects and learn to plan, conduct, and evaluate experiments in the laboratory. Documenting experiments is a central part of the daily work. Besides in-house training, you attend the Commercial Vocational and Further Education Centre St. Gallen (GBS).
Your Profile
You have completed secondary school with good grades in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English, possess good colour vision, and bring a willingness to learn and perform. Interconnected thinking and an exact and reliable working method are very important to you. You enjoy working on the PC and have a lot of perseverance for experiments that do not work immediately.
