The Hertihus on Bahnhofstrasse in Bülach is a social psychiatric residential home of the Salvation Army. We offer adults with mental health issues or addiction disorders a safe, reliable home and professional support in everyday life. To complement our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed and reliable person for the night and on-call duty.Your tasks
- Presence and safety: You ensure a calm, safe atmosphere during the night and are the first point of contact for our residents in unforeseen situations
- On-call duty: You remain on standby during the on-call period to respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent questions
- Support as needed: You provide low-threshold assistance and crisis intervention
- Administration & handover: You keep the night log, document incidents and hand over relevant information to the day team
Your profile
- Training or experience: Ideally completed training in the social or care sector or professional experience as a lateral entrant in the care sector. Students are also welcome
- Attitude: Empathetic, calm and assertive personality in dealing with people in difficult life situations
- Competences: High sense of responsibility, independence, discretion and stable psychological resilience
- Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular shifts (including weekends and public holidays) within the night and on-call schedule
