Chief Credit Officer – Head of Division

Your main responsibilities:

Directly reporting to the CEO and a member of the Executive Board, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in the operational and strategic management of the Bank, notably by actively contributing to the Executive Board's decision-making,
• Leading the "Credit Management" division (170 employees) within the framework of the mission, strategies, objectives, resources and budgets,
• Ensuring the management and quality of the credit portfolio with a cost/income approach and credit risk control by guaranteeing the application of credit policies and guidelines,
• Chairing the Executive Board Credit Committee,
• Optimising the analysis, management and detection of credit risks,
• Continuously improving credit processes (analysis, decision, structuring, entry) and the functioning of the division,
• Defining, organising and leading strategic projects, establishing the necessary reporting for managing the division and monitoring its performance,
• Representing the Bank on various occasions as a member of the Executive Board,
• Chairing and/or participating as a member in various internal Committees.

Your profile:

• University education in finance/economics, law or science,
• Proven experience of at least 10 years leading a significant organisational unit as the person responsible for credit decision-making,
• In-depth knowledge of credit and products related to mortgage, commercial and trade finance sectors,
• Experience in leading large teams and managing strategic projects,
• Good knowledge of the economic fabric of the French-speaking region of Switzerland,
• Fluency in French, very good knowledge of German and English.
