About the job
In the Winterthur-Seen city district, around 180 students from kindergarten to 6th grade attend the Primary School Aussenwachten at four different locations. The Aussenwachten school is guided by the principles of the New Authority and is a progressive school with a highly motivated team of teachers. In this versatile role as principal, you will take over the independent management of the Primary School Aussenwachten from August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Operational management of the school unit in organizational, administrative, and financial areas (school budget)
- Personnel and pedagogical leadership of the staff
- Promoting and securing school and quality development
- Representing the school internally and externally
- Collaboration with the school board, the education management, and the school principals in Winterthur
Your Profile
- Proven leadership and professional experience in the educational environment, preferably with school management experience and a confident repertoire of actions
- Started or completed school management training
- Teaching experience as a teacher at kindergarten or primary school level is an advantage
- Solution-oriented and reflective attitude as well as composure even when dealing with challenging situations
- Flair for organizational and administrative tasks combined with high self-organization
- Communicative, appreciative personality with a clear leadership style
