The Quality Plant Zug at V-ZUG is the central organisational unit for all quality matters in our factory. What this position offers you

• You lead the teams in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, and Quality Services with professional clarity, genuine interest in people, and the ambition to shape a quality culture that is felt throughout the factory. You plan resources proactively, recognise the development potential of your employees, and create the conditions for their targeted further development
• You develop a key figure system together with the organisation that effectively controls rather than just documents. You identify quality gaps early, actively drive the implementation of the House of Quality, and ensure that agreed measures are consistently and effectively implemented
• You actively shape quality guidelines, systems, and standards and ensure that the factory is always audit-ready – not as a reaction to announcements but as a lived aspiration
• You are the central interface between production, engineering, quality management, and suppliers, ensuring that testing and manufacturing processes mesh smoothly
• You actively contribute to quality-relevant investment decisions and improvement projects. In case of quality or process risks, you escalate with the necessary discretion and considering overall economic contexts

What you bring to the position

• You have a university degree in engineering as well as further training in the quality field and bring at least five years of professional experience in quality management and quality assurance
• You lead convincingly and consistently: you set clear goals, provide orientation, and are present – on the shop floor as well as at the strategic level. Quality-oriented thinking is not a control mechanism for you but an attitude
• You are familiar with the management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 from practice and know where quality methods create real added value. You recognise strategically relevant gaps early and proactively address them together with your team
• You think and act across departments. You succeed in positively influencing cross-functional activities and aligning different interests towards a common quality goal
• SAP and MS Office are part of your daily toolkit. You work confidently with data, analyse it purposefully, and derive measures that have an impact in everyday life
• You communicate fluently in German and confidently in English – precisely, clearly, and appreciatively
