Your new job

• Gathering, analysing and validating requirements in close collaboration with our customers and internal stakeholders.
• Developing professional and technical solution concepts as well as assessing feasibility together with software development and other specialists.
• Developing and optimising data pipelines, interfaces and processes for data extraction and transformation based on the HelloDATA open-source stack.
• Implementing data engineering and data warehousing solutions as well as developing dashboards and reports.
• Taking on the interface function between business and development and accompanying the implementation from the requirement to the productive solution.
• Co-designing and further developing our data platform, architecture and engineering standards.

What you bring with you

• University degree in computer science, data engineering, data science or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in business analysis and requirements engineering as well as in the design and implementation of technical software solutions.
• Sound knowledge in data engineering and data warehousing as well as in technologies such as SQL, Python, Airflow and ideally Superset.
• Experience with DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Flux or Helm is an advantage.
• Ability to translate professional requirements into technical solutions and to bring together different stakeholder groups.
• Very good communication skills in German and English as well as a structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working.

Your salary

Your gross salary for a 100% workload is in the range of 115,000 - 130,000 Swiss francs per year, depending on your prior knowledge and experience. With more professional experience or additional skills, it can also be somewhat higher. Salary development then depends on your performance and the financial success of Bedag.
