The motto of the Wiesner Family Gastronomy (FWG) is: „Creating moments that make life more colourful.“ FWG is an innovative player in system catering and known for exciting concepts. Since the early 1990s, it has been successfully active in the Swiss market and has been managed in the second generation by the brothers Manuel and Daniel Wiesner since 2020. Guests are spoiled with a variety of culinary concepts from around the world. FWG places special focus on central locations that are also optimally suited for take-away and delivery business. Currently, FWG operates 33 locations, offers five food brands, and employs over 700 staff from around 68 different nations.
For the further development of our brands, we are looking for a creative, structured, and implementation-strong personality as of 1 September 2026, or by arrangement, as
Food Development & Innovation Manager (m/f) 70%, who combines food innovation with economic efficiency and operational feasibility.
Your diverse tasks:
- You travel a lot and recognise food trends, market opportunities, and innovation potentials, translating these into economically successful offers 🍜
- You develop new products, recipes, and offer concepts for our brands together with our food developer and accompany these from the idea to successful rollout 🚀
- You ensure that taste, quality, brand fit, food cost, and operational feasibility are always right 📊
- You accompany tastings, product tests, pilot projects, and optimisations and continuously develop existing offers 👨🍳
- You are a sparring partner for our food developer and work closely with F&B, operations, marketing, food coaching, and our establishments 🤝
Your talents and experience:
- You have a basic gastronomic education as well as further training in gastronomy, food development, business administration, or product management 🎓
- You bring several years of experience in food development, product development, F&B management, or a comparable function 🎯
- You have sound knowledge in recipe development, food cost management, calculations, and quality standards 📈
- You work in a structured way, think entrepreneurially, and consistently carry projects from idea to implementation 🚀
- You convince through creativity, joy of innovation, communication skills, and the ability to inspire people for new ideas 💡
