Geomatics Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 100,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a Geomatics Engineer / Project Manager Surveying for technically demanding projects in the field of engineering surveying, geomonitoring and digital construction processes. You will handle and lead projects from conception to execution, working with modern surveying, drone and laser scanning technology. Other focal points include automated geodetic monitoring, 3D data processing and BIM. The position is suitable for both career starters and professionals with initial project experience who wish to develop further technically and professionally.
Responsibilities:
Independent handling and management of surveying projects from conception and work preparation to execution and documentation
Execution and coordination of demanding engineering surveys for construction, infrastructure and special projects
Planning and implementation of geodetic and geotechnical monitoring solutions including automated measurement systems
Collection of terrain, building and object data using 3D laser scanning, drone surveying and modern geodetic measurement technology
Preparation, evaluation and quality assurance of 3D point clouds, measurement data and digital terrain models
Integration and further processing of surveying data for BIM models and digital construction processes
Setup, monitoring and evaluation of deformation and precision measurements
Creation of measurement concepts, technical documentation, evaluations and project reports
Participation in the development and introduction of new measurement systems, digital methods and services
Technical advice and support of the clientele as well as assistance with offers and project acquisition
Coordination with clients, planning offices, site management and internal specialists
Ensuring measurement accuracy, data quality and traceable project documentation
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Geomatics Engineer FH/ETH or comparable university education in geomatics
Knowledge in engineering surveying, geodesy and 3D data processing; professional experience is not necessarily required
Interest in 3D laser scanning, drone surveying and modern geodetic measurement systems
Knowledge or interest in geomonitoring and automated deformation measurement
Understanding of BIM, point clouds and digital construction processes
Knowledge of common surveying and evaluation software is an advantage
Good German language skills, spoken and written
