Court Management
The District Court Dielsdorf is a first-instance civil and criminal court with around 40 employees. Approximately 3,500 cases are processed annually.
An auditorship at the District Court Dielsdorf enables graduates to enter the legal profession. It lasts one net year and is credited as a practical year in accordance with the admission requirements for the bar examination.

Your area of responsibility
The District Court Dielsdorf employs nine auditors. As part of the auditorship, you will be deployed in all areas of activity for which a district court in the canton of Zurich is responsible. By participating in hearings, independently handling cases to some extent, and drafting decisions, you will gain particular insight into civil law (e.g. claims including labour law disputes, family and tenancy law), criminal law, as well as debt enforcement and bankruptcy law. Our ten positions as court clerks are regularly filled by our own auditors. This gives you the prospect of a longer-term position at the District Court Dielsdorf and a career in the Zurich judiciary.
Your profile
- Admission requirements according to § 2 AudVO:
- Completed law degree;
- Very good knowledge of the official language;
- Good reputation (extract from the criminal record);
- Legal capacity (certificate of legal capacity)
- Applications are accepted even before the official graduation ceremony, provided that the application includes a confirmation from the university or a transcript of records showing that all required examination subjects and the master’s thesis have been successfully completed.
