To strengthen our team at the Zurich location, we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer (m/f/d) Substations as soon as possible.

Job Description

• Support in the technical processing of projects, e.g. with simple calculations, technical specifications, documentation and reports.
• Participation in the planning of substation projects – from the initial creation of analyses, studies and plans for new build and refurbishment projects of substations to accompanying later project phases.
• Participation in coordination with internal departments, technical coordination and leadership of interdisciplinary project teams.
• Assistance in preparing decision-making bases, e.g. through research, technical comparisons or preparation of documents.
• Support in creating schedule and cost overviews as well as maintaining project-related planning documents.

Qualifications

• Completed studies (ETH/FH/University) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy technology or a comparable technical field.
• Initial practical insights (e.g. through internships, working student activities or project work) in the field of high voltage technology or energy technology.
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, as well as French or Italian skills are an advantage.
• Basic understanding of relevant technical standards and legal foundations in the field of energy and the high voltage ordinance.
• Initial experience in collaboration on projects or with other specialist departments in the field of energy transmission and distribution is helpful but not mandatory.
• Careful, structured working style and willingness to take on responsibility step by step.
• Team-oriented, communicative working style and enjoyment of teamwork.
