Nations Campus – Secondary School

Support students with special educational needs to help them achieve their learning goals within our inclusive secondary environment.

Your role and responsibilities

• Work with students individually and lead very small groups, under the supervision of the specialised teacher.
• Support students individually in the mainstream classroom, in collaboration with the class teacher.
• Plan activities and lessons according to the objectives of the Individualised Learning Plan (ILP), using appropriate teaching materials.
• Take an active part in weekly team meetings, parent meetings, and meetings related to students’ Individualised Learning Plans.
• Follow an individualised professional development programme.

Desired profiles

Skills and experience

• University-level qualification (degree in mathematics and physics or experience teaching these subjects highly desirable).
• Proven experience with students presenting significant educational and socio-emotional needs.
• Experience supporting students with the ASDAN programme appreciated.
• Native-level English proficiency, with good operational knowledge of French.

Personal qualities

• Dynamic, energetic, determined, professional, and flexible.
• Genuine passion for special education and inclusive pedagogy.
• Strong ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
