Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), 80 - 100%

greenSys AG is a service company in the green sector. For more than 30 years, we have been developing and maintaining software for nurseries, tree nurseries, florists and more. Our products include solutions for accounting, inventory management, cash register and more. As an SME, we employ several staff in the development and support of these systems.

What to expect:

• You will develop the next generation of our IT systems with us, which support the daily business of green enterprises.
• You actively participate in our agile planning and development process with Scrum and take a central role.
• You write code for web applications in front- and backend using languages such as TypeScript, C#, Rust and more.
• You manage our DevOps environment and have contact with Kubernetes, ArgoCD and GitOps.
• You perform code reviews and are responsible for quality and security in our code base.
• You are part of our core team and directly influence our architecture, culture and tools in software development.

What you bring:

You meet one of the following conditions:

• Training as an IT specialist EFZ with professional experience (2+ years after apprenticeship).
• Bachelor in computer science or related field with professional experience (2+ years after studies).
• Master or higher in computer science or related field.
• Several years of professional experience in computer science (3 years or more).

What we also expect:

• Solid knowledge in web development, preferably both front- and backend, and you are familiar with surrounding technologies (Git, SQL).
• Prior knowledge or enthusiasm to learn Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Motivation for IT as a whole - you will not be a pure programmer, but also manage surrounding systems.
• Willingness to contribute your knowledge, exchange ideas, and learn new things.
• Team spirit, independence and the ability to take professional responsibility and pass on knowledge to others.
