You don’t just want to operate modern data solutions, but actively further develop and improve them. In the Data & AI Center of Excellence at the Cantonal Hospital Baden, you will help shape the central data and AI platform for analytics, reporting, and AI applications. You will work with Azure, Databricks, and modern cloud technologies, bringing your experience directly into the further development of the platform. The position is available immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks
- You operate and further develop our Azure and Databricks platform, ensuring stable and reliable operation.
- You automate infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD, continuously improving existing workflows.
- You develop and optimise data pipelines and data products and support the implementation of dashboards and AI applications.
- You gather requirements from internal stakeholders and departments, advise on technical possibilities, and translate these into suitable productive solutions.
- You support data scientists and data engineers in reliably bringing analytics, machine learning, and GenAI solutions into productive operation.
- You improve the stability, security, performance, and cost efficiency of the platform and evaluate new technologies for their concrete benefits.
Your profile
- You have several years of practical experience as a data platform engineer, cloud engineer, data engineer, or in a comparable role.
- You possess very good knowledge of Azure, Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
- You have experience with Terraform, Git, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
- You are familiar with the structure and operation of modern cloud data platforms from practical experience.
- You work independently, pragmatically, and solution-oriented, finding suitable solutions even for complex technical challenges.
- You enjoy communicating with internal stakeholders and departments and can explain technical contexts clearly.
- Experience with medical data, HL7/FHIR, or in healthcare is an advantage.
- You have very good German and English skills.
