For our Official Curatorship Service (SOC) in Estavayer-le-Lac, we are looking for a

Curator at 80%

Desired Profile

• Degree as a social worker HES or equivalent training
• Professional ethics: respect for the interlocutor, empathy but comfortable making decisions for a third party, listening skills, ability to provide support and diplomacy, perseverance
• Interest and professional experience in caring for people in difficulty with the aim of protecting their interests, ideally in a curatorship service
• Good knowledge of the functioning of social insurance and the Fribourg network
• Flexibility and ability to work independently, in a team and in a network
• Skills in financial and administrative management
• Holder of a motor vehicle and willing to use it for service purposes

Main Missions

• Assume responsibility and execution of adult protection mandates ordered by the Broye Justice of the Peace and for which you have been appointed
• Accompany, support, monitor and represent persons under curatorship mandate in accordance with the adult protection law and depending on the judicial decision rendered
• Manage the task areas retained by the Justice of the Peace which may concern administrative, financial aspects, including management of real estate, personal and health matters of the persons concerned
• Collaborate with the entire network
