As a rural municipality in the Thun West district, we are looking for a municipal works employee 40 – 60% with manual skills and an interest in diverse tasks from 01.01.2026 or by arrangement

What awaits you?

• Maintenance of path and road network as well as water bodies
• Order and cleanliness / disposal
• Administrative tasks
• Planning / projects / assistance with school caretaker duties
• Collaboration with administration, school caretaker, commissions and municipal council

What do you bring?

• Manual skills / vocational training in a craft
• Interest in the concerns of a municipality's infrastructure
• Independent, goal- and task-oriented as well as self-reliant working behaviour
• Experience in handling vehicles, machines and equipment / driving licence category B
• Flexibility / high social competence / great resilience / suitability for fire brigade
