Supplier Manager with Technical Flair 80-100% (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to apply your experience in purchasing and supplier management purposefully? In this position, you ensure successful cooperation with national and international suppliers. You combine technical requirements with economic goals, further develop existing partnerships and work closely with purchasing, quality assurance and other specialist departments.
Responsibilities:
You manage suppliers at home and abroad and purposefully develop existing business relationships.
You check the quality, costs and delivery reliability of your suppliers and initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations.
You support strategic and operational purchasing in the procurement of technical purchased and manufactured parts.
You keep an eye on follow-up orders and delivery dates and coordinate measures in case of bottlenecks.
You work closely with purchasing, quality assurance, production planning and engineering and contribute to improvement projects.
You accompany supplier qualifications, audits and visits and support the implementation of agreed quality measures.
You create supplier evaluations, key figures and reports to further develop procurement processes.
You maintain article, material and supplier data in the ERP system and support its optimisation.
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed a technical vocational training and ideally have further training in purchasing or supply chain management.
You bring several years of experience in industrial purchasing or supplier management.
You are confident in handling ERP applications, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
You convince through initiative, negotiation skills, quality awareness as well as an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working and communicate confidently with various contacts.
You have good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
You are willing to visit suppliers at home and abroad and to participate in on-site audits.
