Responsibilities
Substitute for maternity leave / Permanent position
The Neuenhof school is looking for a substitute speech therapist due to maternity leave for the period from 01.03.2025 to 31.07.2025 for 16 to 23 weekly lessons. From 01.08.2025, there is also the option of a permanent position for 11 weekly lessons as well as an additional substitute until approximately 30.09.2025 for 12 weekly lessons.
Neuenhof is an active and attractive community located centrally between Zurich and Baden with around 9,000 inhabitants. At the integrative Neuenhof school, 130 teachers with great pedagogical commitment, openness, and a lot of passion teach around 1,000 children and adolescents. The high proportion of foreign-language students requires an innovatively lived, integrative pedagogy. The cross-level and cross-class collaboration from kindergarten to primary, secondary, and high school is anchored in everyday life. The hallmark of our school is the diversity of languages and cultures.
Responsibilities:
- Clarification and diagnosis of therapy needs, creation of support planning and therapy reports
- Speech therapy individual therapy (planning and implementation)
- Consultation and collaboration with parents, teaching, and specialist staff
- Planning (preparation and follow-up) and implementation of the lesson
- Close collaboration in the team
- Creating support plans
- Open and appreciative work with parents
Requirements
- (completed) speech therapy training with EDK recognition
- Willingness to collaborate interdisciplinary
- Diploma in speech therapy
- Sense of responsibility and resilience
- Organizational skills and confident appearance
