The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care centre each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees provide elderly people with a regionally unique all-round service from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. Holistic care at Adullam includes a high standard of quality, lived humanity, and great respect for old age.

To strengthen our 25-member kitchen team at the Basel location, we are looking for a committed individual to start immediately or by arrangement, who contributes daily to the well-being of our guests through their work.

Your tasks:

• You prepare fresh meals daily for patients, residents, employees, as well as for events and occasions
• You work reliably according to recipes and actively contribute to compliance with our quality and nutritional standards
• You flexibly support all stations in the kitchen and, if necessary, also the kitchen team at the Riehen location
• Together with the team, you ensure consistent compliance with all hygiene regulations

Your profile:

• Completed training as a Cook with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ)
• Advantageous: training as a diet cook or experience in the field of diet kitchen
• You are a team-oriented, committed individual with a strong sense of quality
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Willingness to work regularly on weekends and public holidays
