Appeals Lawyer (fixed-term) 80 - 100%
In the appeals department of the Security Directorate, we handle all appeals against decisions of our offices, especially those of the Migration Office and the Road Traffic Office. We are looking for a lawyer immediately or by arrangement. The position is fixed-term for two years.
Your tasks
- You independently handle demanding appeal procedures within the jurisdiction of the Security Directorate.
- You quickly grasp complex facts, identify the essentials, and handle legal issues in a structured, analytical, and precise manner.
- You process a large number of sometimes urgent matters promptly, efficiently, and carefully.
- You actively contribute to professional exchanges and work constructively in a team.
Your profile
- You have a completed law degree (MLaw / lic.iur.) and several years of professional experience, ideally with one to two years of court or administrative practice.
- You have a confident, clear, and legally precise manner of expression.
- You work independently, gladly take on responsibility, and are characterised by an efficient and conscientious working style.
- You are resilient, team-oriented, and maintain an overview even in demanding situations.
