The University Geriatric Medicine FELIX PLATTER is the leading competence centre for geriatric medicine in Northwestern Switzerland. Our kitchen makes an important daily contribution to the well-being, health, and quality of life of our patients.

To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for a committed and motivated individual as a Cook or Chef EFZ. Ideally, you also have training as a diet cook EFZ or have a special interest in nutrition, health, and geriatric medicine.

Your tasks

Preparation of fresh and high-quality meals for patients, staff, and guests

Ensuring needs-based, attractive, and contemporary catering

Participation in the development and implementation of new recipes and catering concepts

Application of modern cooking techniques and current nutritional science findings

Compliance with and assurance of hygiene, quality, and safety standards

Collaboration with nutrition therapists and other interdisciplinary specialist areas

Your profile

Completed training as Cook/Chef EFZ

Training as Diet Cook EFZ is an advantage

Professional experience in a professional kitchen

Passion for high-quality, fresh, and modern cuisine

Interest in nutrition, health promotion, and geriatric medicine

Enjoyment in learning new things and further developing existing processes

Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and current nutrition trends

Independent, responsible, and structured working style

Team spirit as well as high quality and service orientation
