As part of Associated British Foods (ABF), you operate in a global procurement environment and take responsibility for key indirect categories. You develop strategies, lead negotiations, and manage stakeholders in an international context.
In doing so, you work closely with global teams as well as the location in the Bern area and report to the Senior Category Lead Indirect Services.
Category Lead – Indirects (m/f/d) 80-100%
- Category strategy: Development and implementation of sustainable strategies across multiple indirect categories (HR, IT, Marketing, Professional Services, Facilities, MRO)
- Value creation: Realisation of savings as well as enhancement of quality, innovation, and sustainability
- Tenders: Conducting RfPs, negotiations, and use of e-sourcing and P2P processes
- Supplier management: Building and managing strategic partnerships including performance tracking
- Stakeholder management: Close collaboration and consultation with departments locally and globally
- Internationality: Active participation in the global procurement network and exchange across markets
- Procurement experience: 3–5 years of experience in purchasing
- Strategic procurement: Solid know-how in category management and negotiation
- Track record: Proven success in savings or measurable value enhancement
- Stakeholder management: Confident handling of internal customers up to senior level
- Languages: Fluent in German and English in a professional context (spoken and written)
