With around 70 employees, we develop and produce electromagnetic precision drives and web-based servo controllers. Our technologies are used worldwide by leading companies such as Bosch, Swatch Group, Sonion, Roche, or Eli Lilly.

For the software development of our new servo controller platform, we are looking for an independent and reliable addition to our team immediately or by arrangement

Embedded Software Engineer (C) (m/f) 100%

As an experienced software engineer, you develop sophisticated firmware solutions with high quality. You program firmware in C for our servo controllers to precisely control and regulate our dynamic direct drives. In doing so, you also develop safety-oriented firmware according to the requirements of functional safety. With your structured and solution-oriented working style, you actively contribute to an interdisciplinary team. You develop robust and maintainable software and implement projects independently and reliably.

Specifically

• Design and implementation of hardware-near and real-time capable firmware in C for our servo controllers and measurement systems
• Development of high-performance drivers for optimal use of the available hardware resources
• Development, integration, testing, and documentation of the firmware according to the requirements of functional safety

Qualification

• Degree in electrical engineering (BSc/MSc) or comparable education
• Several years of experience in developing hardware-near firmware in C for embedded systems
• Practical experience with real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS or ThreadX
• Experience in developing functionally safe firmware according to EN 61508 is an advantage
