Do you enjoy communicating, work independently, and keep an overview even in hectic situations? Are you enthusiastic about customer contact and interested in technical products? For our internal sales department, we are looking for a committed individual who qualifies customer enquiries, asks targeted questions in case of uncertainties, prepares quotations, and actively follows up on sent offers.

Tasks

• First point of contact for customers and business partners via the telephone switchboard, email inbox, as well as personal customer support on site.
• Check, qualify, and prioritise customer enquiries
• Ask targeted follow-up questions and obtain technical information in case of unclear or incomplete enquiries
• Create and process quotations and order confirmations
• Actively follow up on sent quotations and pursue sales opportunities
• Advise customers by phone and email
• Handle shipping items
• Coordinate technical clarifications with internal specialists and suppliers
• Maintain customer, item, and order data in the ERP system
• Support sales documents, product texts, website, and simple marketing measures
• Take on deputy duties during absences, e.g. simple scheduling, invoice creation, and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Commercial basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Enjoy active customer contact and sales
• Very good German language skills
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
• Confident handling of modern software and ERP systems
• Technical understanding and interest in mechanical and electrotechnical products
