Head of Finance (m/f/d)

As Head of Finance, you will bear overall responsibility for Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Compliance and the financial governance of the EHL Hotel Management School Passugg. As a member of the Executive Board, you are a strategic business partner to the management and work closely with the Board of Directors as well as EHL Group Finance. You ensure forward-looking financial management and accompany important investment and campus development projects.

Your main tasks:

• Overall responsibility for Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Compliance and financial governance
• Management of budget, forecasts and multi-year planning including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, OPEX and CAPEX
• Analysis of financial performance as well as management and board reporting
• Responsibility for financial statements, auditing as well as tax and VAT-related matters
• Liquidity planning, treasury, banking relationships and financial responsibility for public subsidies
• Financial support for investments, business cases, campus development projects and strategic initiatives
• Leadership of the finance team as well as further development of Microsoft D365, reporting, automation and financial processes

Your profile:

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in finance, including several years in a senior finance role
• University degree in finance, accounting, controlling, business administration or comparable qualification
• Broad experience in accounting, controlling, planning, treasury and governance
• Very good knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, performance management and investment calculation
• Very good Excel skills and solid ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI are advantageous
• Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
• Strategic and hands-on working style, leadership skills, business partner mentality and clear communication
