For an established company in the construction and infrastructure sector in the Samstagern region, we are seeking an experienced and responsible leader for a versatile management position in finance and accounting.

Head of Finance and Accounting

Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for finance and accounting according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as well as ensuring correct bookkeeping
• Monitoring of payment transactions as well as debtor and creditor management
• Preparation of financial analyses and reports for management
• Professional and disciplinary leadership of employees in finance and accounting
• Further development and optimisation of internal financial processes and control systems
• Participation in digitalisation projects and the further development of ERP systems
• Collaboration with banks, auditors, tax consultants and authorities
• Support of management in strategic and business decisions
• Overall coordination of administrative processes and human resources

Your profile

• Completed commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting or business studies with a focus on finance
• Several years of solid professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in the main construction industry
• Leadership experience and enjoyment of responsibility for a small team
• Confidence in financial statements according to OR and knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel, as well as experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking skills
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• High discretion, resilience and strong communication skills
