- Collaborate in the conceptual further development of the organisational unit Transformation & Innovation Defence, as well as develop organisational variants and strategic concepts.
- Conduct research, analyses and benchmarks on topics such as organisational design, enabling, digital transformation and military innovation.
- Create communication products to support the internal and external transformation process (presentations, dossiers, texts).
- Support the design and further development of digital work platforms (SharePoint, M365, Confluence).
- Assist in organising workshops, meetings and events in the context of Transformation, Enabling & Innovation.
What makes you unique
- University degree at master’s level in business administration, psychology, social sciences (e.g. international relations, political science, communication studies) or a comparable field. Knowledge in organisational development, transformation or digitalisation is an advantage.
- Affinity for modern working methods, communication and digital collaboration.
- Understanding of entrepreneurial contexts and practical challenges in day-to-day business.
- Initial practical work experience during studies in a company, public administration or comparable organisation (e.g. through internships, working student positions or study-related employment).

The Army Staff (A Staff) supports the Chief of the Army in leading the Defence Department area and is responsible for the overall military planning and development of the Swiss Army. According to political directives, the strategic foundations, force development and army and armament planning are developed here, and tasks in the international security context are undertaken. The leadership, control and coordination of all overarching cross-sectional areas (personnel, finance, real estate) also fall within the responsibility of the Army Staff.
The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian professions – at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. The next generation is also taken care of: the Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
