What to expect with us
Our 12-month trainee programme combines financial consulting with technology, process automation and AI. You will get to know our core business and work on the digital development of VZ.
- Phase 1: Introduction (3 months) Entry into corporate development with a focus on processes, CRM, low code & automation.
- Phase 2: Professional training (6 months)
20% corporate development: expanding your technical skills and initial optimisations.
80% financial consulting: insight into our advisory business and support in client meetings.
· You acquire in-depth expertise in our front processes as well as topics such as retirement, investments, mortgages, taxes and insurance.
· You analyse complex issues and develop solutions for our clients.
· You experience how consulting, technology and processes are interconnected. - Phase 3: Implementation (3 months)
Specialisation in process automation & AI engineering in corporate development with your own projects and modern technologies such as TypeScript, Python, low code and AI agents.· You analyse requirements and develop digital solutions with measurable added value.
· You automate and optimise business processes end-to-end.
· You develop and integrate AI applications.
· You conduct business analyses and implement improvements yourself.
Your perspective
After completing the programme, you can develop into a process automation & AI engineer and actively help shape the digital future of VZ.
What you bring
- Technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. in mathematics, physics, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.), ideally from ETH.
- Strong interest in AI and data-driven solutions.
- Good programming skills (especially TypeScript, Python, SQL). Experience with APIs and automation is an advantage.
- Analytical thinking and interest in financial topics.
- Strong communication: You can present complex content clearly, speak very good German and understand Swiss German.
