Pricing Specialist / Actuary Product Management Mobility (m/f/d)

What Awaits You

In this role, you are part of the Product Management Mobility team and play a crucial role in the development and pricing of our mobility products: motor vehicle and travel insurance. 

The role forms the interface between product management, actuarial, and controlling. It is aimed at experienced professionals from the insurance industry who want to contribute their actuarial expertise and analytical know-how to the professional management, profitability development, and further development of products and tariffs.

What You Achieve With Us

Within your role, you are responsible for the professional development and management of the tariffs of our motor vehicle and travel products. You analyse portfolio, market, and profitability developments, identify the need for action, and derive concrete measures for the further development of our pricing strategy. In doing so, you represent pricing concerns to various stakeholders, coordinate solutions with the involved specialist departments, and bring together different interests to reach viable decisions.

You use data, analyses, and existing models to manage the profitability of our products, recognise the need for action early, and make well-founded decisions for the further development of products and tariffs. You develop evaluations and automations with Python and SQL, visualise relevant insights for different stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous development of our pricing and control instruments. Additionally, you take on a central role in the financial planning and management of the mobility portfolio and provide the necessary reporting and decision-making bases for specialist and management decisions.

Furthermore, you engage in cross-departmental projects to further develop our motor vehicle and travel products and pricing processes and actively contribute your actuarial expertise.

What You Bring

• Completed studies (FH/University) in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, business administration, or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a quantitatively oriented role, for example in pricing, actuarial, or product management
• Solid understanding of insurance products, pricing mechanisms, as well as profitability and portfolio management
• Proven experience in the analysis, modelling, and calculation of insurance products as well as handling large data volumes
• Good programming skills in Python and SQL; independently developing analyses, automations, and evaluations is part of your daily work
• Experience with modern data and analysis platforms such as Databricks, Power BI, or comparable tools
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to prepare complex contexts understandably and communicate appropriately to the target audience
• Independent, structured, and implementation-strong personality with pronounced communication skills 
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; French and English are advantageous
