About the job

We are a traditional, innovative and dynamic meat products manufacturer with a national customer base in trade, industry and the food retail sector, based in Balsthal.

Your tasks

• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness throughout the entire operation
• Guarantee food safety and traceability
• Maintain standards according to IFS guidelines
• Prepare and conduct internal and external audits
• Take samples and evaluate analyses
• Create new labels
• Create and manage documents and data for quality assurance
• Carry out projects for operational optimisation

Your profile

• Completed training or degree in food sciences, food chemistry, food microbiology, nutritional science or comparable education
• Understanding and knowledge of Swiss quality management standards
• Knowledge in HACCP and GHP as well as in the evaluation of microbiological and chemical test results
• Professional experience in the meat industry is an advantage
• Organisational and innovative talent
• Good MS Office skills
• Very good oral and written German skills, as well as good English skills; additional language skills are an advantage
