We are looking for you immediately or by arrangement for the Department of Municipal Operations, Division of Urban Drainage and Water Protection as

Skilled Tradesperson: Sewer Group (80 – 100 %)

Your impact with us

• Ensuring the operational and functional reliability of the wastewater facilities of the municipality of Köniz
• Independently carrying out maintenance work on stormwater basins, pumping stations, technical systems of special structures as well as retention and screen facilities
• Independently performing concrete repair work on sewers, shaft structures, stormwater basins and other special structures
• Inspecting and maintaining green areas at water discharge points and retention basins
• Monthly inspection and maintenance of special structures and their technical systems
• Assisting with sewer cleaning and sewer inspection
• Monitoring the control of municipal special structures with the process control system
• Supporting project managers with construction projects, approvals and inspections

What excites us about you

• Completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship (e.g. bricklayer, plumber, electrician) or comparable training
• Ideally several years of professional experience and willingness to dive into a new specialist field
• Interest in the topic of urban drainage and the preservation of clean waters
• Confident handling of electrical systems as well as common IT tools
• Team player, reliable and enjoys manual work
