We are looking for you immediately or by arrangement for the Department of Municipal Operations, Division of Urban Drainage and Water Protection as
Skilled Tradesperson: Sewer Group (80 – 100 %)
Your impact with us
- Ensuring the operational and functional reliability of the wastewater facilities of the municipality of Köniz
- Independently carrying out maintenance work on stormwater basins, pumping stations, technical systems of special structures as well as retention and screen facilities
- Independently performing concrete repair work on sewers, shaft structures, stormwater basins and other special structures
- Inspecting and maintaining green areas at water discharge points and retention basins
- Monthly inspection and maintenance of special structures and their technical systems
- Assisting with sewer cleaning and sewer inspection
- Monitoring the control of municipal special structures with the process control system
- Supporting project managers with construction projects, approvals and inspections
What excites us about you
- Completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship (e.g. bricklayer, plumber, electrician) or comparable training
- Ideally several years of professional experience and willingness to dive into a new specialist field
- Interest in the topic of urban drainage and the preservation of clean waters
- Confident handling of electrical systems as well as common IT tools
- Team player, reliable and enjoys manual work
