The Zug Canton Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. In the interdisciplinary emergency centre, more than 27,500 people are treated annually. For our Human Resources department, we are looking for a competent and proactive Payroll Specialist / Project Employee immediately or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Co-responsibility for the entire payroll administration including social insurances for approximately 1,200 employees together with your colleague
- Handling of entry and exit notifications including social insurances and reconciliation tasks
- Preparation, execution and processing of monthly payroll runs including processing of all mutations
- Handling MSU billing, EO notifications, employer certificates, civil service personnel
- Notifications in case of accident, illness, processing of medical certificates
- Consultation on retirement issues as well as calculation of bridging pensions
- Preparation of withholding tax and social insurance accounts including the corresponding annual financial statements as well as preparation of personnel statistics
- Co-responsibility for the application in the time management system (PEP)
- Assistance with the implementation of the new PEP environment / smartPEP
- Contact person for questions regarding payroll accounting, allowances, social insurances, time management
- If possible, taking over vocational training (commercial and other non-nursing areas)
Your Profile
- Completed commercial training with further education in payroll administration (social insurance specialist, payroll specialist or comparable qualification)
- Very high IT affinity as well as good Excel skills (system knowledge of Opale, PEP, UKA advantageous)
- Enjoyment and knowledge of complex contexts (project work)
- At least five years of experience in payroll accounting in a larger company
- Structured, precise and reliable working style with simultaneous customer contact
- Team-oriented, straightforward, loyal and trustworthy personality
- Openness to new things and changes
